NIX & NIX
NIX & NIX is the Netherlands’ first alcohol-free ‘off-licence’. Increasingly more people are choosing to reduce or stop drinking alcohol. The reasons are manifold and include a healthier lifestyle, pregnancy, a medication regime or because they have elected to be a party’s dedicated driver. Nix & Nix opened as a shop, but expressed the wish to expand and professionalise their design. Now New Next was asked to optimise the house style and set up both the online and the offline communication.

The result is a logo, house style and a convenient, practical and easily applicable brand book that includes the house style as well as the instore communication and design approach.

Davelaar – Odekoeken
In 2019, Amarant Bakkers repurchased the Davelaar brand from the bakers they had previously sold it to. Amarant Bakkers wished to reposition the brand and make it once again relevant. To help achieve this goal they introduced Open Hiring®, making it possible for people to work in the bakery without a lengthy formal application process. The name was also reworked (from Jodenkoeken to Odekoeken) with a focus on vegan products. The brand has discovered a new relevance, in line with current times.
